THE YEAR THAT WAS

It would have to be Gossip Girl. It has the right mix of excitement and drama.

• What has been your fondest memory of 2010? Can you tell us more about it?Ano ang pinakamasayang alaala o pangyayari ngayong 2010? Maaari mo ba kaming kuwentuhan tungkol dito.

Hong Kong with my family in July. That was our first international trip together.

§  Did you go into a new endeavor or hobby or adventure this year? If yes, how did you get into it? Why? How did it turn out?

Nothing really. I just went more serious with blogging.

§  What was one major decision that you had to make this year? Who or what influenced you the most when you made this decision? Why do you say this?

 I wanted to make a shift in my career. The decision was not influenced by anyone but myself because I felt like I was not growing where I am currently at.

• Have you felt any positive difference this year compared to 2009? In what aspects have you felt the difference?

I guess so. I stopped flings with committed people.

• If you could change one thing in the past year, what would it be? Why this?

If I could change how I feel about someone, then  I probably would.

The year 2010 was crazy and like a roller coaster ride.

In 2011, I would save more and try to be more positive about things.

We attend mass, eat noche buena then open gifts at midnight.

I celebrated it with friends at Attica then we slept over at a hotel.

• What do you like the most among all the things implemented by Pnoy’s administration? What do you like the least? Why?

The coding for buses along EDSA. There are just too many bastard bus drivers around.

Nothing much really.

ALL ABOUT MYSELF
If you were a smell, how would you smell like? If you were a kind of food, what food would you be and how would you taste? If you were a song, who would sing you, where would you be heard?

I would smell a combination of fruity and floral; something light and not irritating to the nose.

I would be chocolate mousse: sweet but sinful.

I would be sang by a rock band and I would be heard on mainstream radio.

What makes you happy? What stresses you?

I get happy with the simplest things: coffee with friends, shots of tequila, shopping, beach trips, surprises etc; when people I care about show appreciation and make me feel that I am loved. 

I get stressed when I get overloaded with work. The guys that I have been with have also stressed me out.

When do you spend time with the family? What do you usually do?

I spend the weekends with my family. If time permits, we go out to eat or watch a movie.

When do you usually spend time with friends? What do you do?

I spend time with friends whenever I want to; weekdays or weekends it does not matter. We either have coffee, go videoke, drink or eat. Whatever we like to do.

Imagine that you are preparing dinner and you can invite 5 people. Who would you invite and why?

If you were given the chance to go anywhere, where would you go? How will you go there? Who would be with you? Why will you go there? What is the occasion? Once in your destination, what will you do?

I would love to go on a European trip with my girlfriends on my birthday. We would eat and drink and go shopping.

How would you describe a jejemon?
The jejemon is a new breed of jolog. Basically those who think they are cool, but then that is only true in their world.

What are your thoughts on sex education?
I am all for it. Prents are just in denial but kids nowadays get exposed to sex at an earlier age. They're going to do it anyway so better be safe than sorry.

If you were a parent how would you want your kids exposed to sex education?
Teach them in school. It's the best medium.

Not really the last I heard wa sthat MMDA would be active at night as well.

Ø  How do you feel about the recent change in governance?

Ano ang tingin mo sa pagbabago ng gobyerno natin?

I'm optimistic about it. I think it's not hard to be better than the previous government.

Ø  Since the change in governance, what are the changes you have personally experienced?

Not so much.

People are more hopeful and positive.

Better infrastructures, roads and less corrupt officials.

I am usually seen in flipflops but I still manage to be stylish.

All About Me

B. My Everyday Life

1. What are your daily activities? Please list down the activities including the time you usually do these activities.

On weekdays, normally, I have an 8 to 5 job. Abnormally, I have an 8 to 7 job or I get out on the field. I try to jog twice a week, usually on Mondays and Wednesdays (that is I do not work overtime) and I try to socialize and meet up with friends for coffee or beer. Whatever time I get home, I still log on to facebook. I think I would have withdrawal symptoms If I don't. Weekends are spent either out of town or in the mall.

2. Daily high and lows: What are the happy (high) and sad (low) moments of your usual day?

Happiness is found at Visayas Avenue corner Tandang Sora, Mondays to Fridays at around 7:30 AM. :)

My work is the general low. Pfft.

 

C. My Party

1. Imagine you are preparing for a party. If you were to invite 5 people to your party, who will they be? Why them?

a. Derek Ramsay - He tops the list for the plain reason that he is hot! And no I would not invite Angelica Panganiban.

b. Puck of Glee - I have this Messiah complex for bad boys gone good.

c. Patty Laurel - I just love this girl. Smart, witty and rich. On the other hand, I should probably hate her.

d. Whoever brought Red Mango to the Philippines - I would ask for a year's supply of frozen yoghurt. I did invite you to my party didn't I?

2. What are the things you will talk about?

Let's talk about everything under the sun! And yeah I would flirt with Derek and Puck and Palitaw Boy. If I get dead drunk I would probably muster up the confidence to kiss one of them. Haha!

D. Chatting with Family and Friends

1. What are the top five (5) things you talk about with your family?

Actually, I do not talk much with my family. Last week I saw my mom only once; and we live in the same house. If ever we talk, it is about some food we want to eat or when she can't get something done on the computer or when I need to buy detergent. Oh but I get a lot of shout-a-thons with my sister. She keeps life exciting.

Hello.

I am Joanna and this is my Project Diamond Dump. So what is this all about? Frankly, I have no idea. All I know is that this is my portal to answer a series of questions provided by TNS Global for Project Diamond.

What are the significant events in your life?

To tell you the truth, my life is downright boring. I realized that I have not deviated from whatever was expected from me. I regret actually not being able to rebel like disappear or get wasted. I haven't even been dead drunk and at my age that is pathetic.

I consider only these events significant:

1997
I was able to enter Philippine Science High School and call me egocentric but friends, that is Pisay. I belong to the 1% of the brightest brains in the country and up to now that still feeds my ego.

2001
I graduated from Pisay...after being on probationary status. I just happened to get a grade of 3.0 in Biology, Chemistry and Physics back in 3rd year. And no, 3.0 is not acceptable in Pisay standards. I was just so relieved that my drinking coffee at the wee hours of the morning was over. I didn't realize that I would just have to wait a few months and the caffeine overload will be double the dosage.

2003
I got my first experience of heartbreak. Back then I felt that my world was crumbling into a million morsels and there was no way I was going to glue it back together. Stupid girl.

2006
I graduated college and passed the board exams in Chemical Engineering. If given the choice I would have actually gone for the maarte courses like Interior Design or Advertising. I feel lost in this industry.

2007
First job! First paycheck! Happiness!

2008
Something happened but I would rather not divulge it in cyberspace; and because of that I changed jobs. Duh. And oh yeah I had my first trip outside the country. First stamp on the passport beybeh!

And now I realize that after 2008, aside from the usual coffee, night outs and beach trips there has been nothing exciting since. Damn I need to get a life!
